Champagnes
Paul Goerg Tradition
Vintage: NV (non vintage)
Varietals: Chardonnay 60% - Pinot Noir 40%
Country/Region: Côte des Blancs, France
Tasting Notes: Glittering pale gold coloring, complex nose with scents of honey, flowers and preserved fruits. In the mouth, the wine is well-balanced, offering roundness and persistence. The fine, soft bubbles melt away from notes of green apple to a gentle and slightly spicy finish. A wine of great class, this champagne will bring out the best in white meat dishes, or your guests.
Brut Blanc de Blanc NV
Vintage: NV (non vintage)
Varietals: 100% Chardonnay
Country/Region: Côte des Blancs, France
Tasting Notes: 100% Chardonnay grapes make up this truly individual champagne. A heartier, more intense grape gives this champagne structure and a bolder flavor that allowsit to pair beautifully with meats and pates. This is the most food friendly champagne of the line.
Brut Vintage 2000
Vintage: 2000
Varietals: 100% Chardonnay
Country/Region: Côte des Blancs, France
Tasting Notes: One of the most celebrated vintages in recent history, this limited label will not be available for very long. It is very rare for a champagne house to hold back champagne for a later release date since it contradicts the economy of a small vineyard, but that is exactly what Paul Goerg has done. This vintage is ready to drink now and for at least the next three years.
Millesme Cuvee Lady 1998
Vintage: 2000
Varietals: 95% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Noir
Country/Region: Côte des Blancs, France
Tasting Notes: The Grand Marque Champagne of the line, 1998 is the first vintage of this Cuvée. Every year Paul Goerg will choose a special lady To dedicate the vintage.
Roberta Morrell: "Lemon–golden in hue with an exquisite mousse of pin–point bubbles, this charming vintage Champagne delights the senses with its lovely bouquet of apples, vanillin, a hint of toasted brioche and a fresh palate of white fruits, grapefruit and lemon zest. The finish is delicate and long. A Magnificent Lady."
